The project
Mobula brings together residential and commercial spaces within a single development: a residential building at the rear and a commercial building at the front, connected through a shared architectural vision and a cohesive landscape design.
The building features 12 apartments from 95 m², distributed across four levels, and includes elevator and stair access. The upper level offers a shared rooftop with a swimming pool and jacuzzis. Each apartment comes with its own storage unit and one parking space. It was designed for permanent residence and can also be managed as a fractional ownership property.

Behind the project
It all began with a plot of land Tanguy purchased in 2016 during one of his first trips to La Ventana. A passionate kitesurfer, he was captivated by the beauty of the place, where the cactus-filled desert meets the Sea of Cortez, facing Cerralvo Island.
Years later, he met Andrés, the founder of Amina Wind Resort, Tasman’s first project in Baja California Sur. Sharing a mutual passion for the sea, the wind, and architecture, they began to envision what they could create on that land.
Something unexpected happened during the design process. While seeking the best orientation toward the ocean, the building’s silhouette began to resemble the shape of a MOBULA ray. That discovery gave the project its name.
Watching these rays leap defying gravity reflects our own DNA. As kitesurfing enthusiasts, we find that same sense of freedom in soaring above the water. MOBULA embodies our passion for adventure and our unbreakable connection to the sea and the wind.
